Our Stern Uncles

Our Shack is a great place to hang out, generally. But like everywhere, we have our 'dissident elements' (as Monty puts it). These are our two Stern Uncles. They are inseperable, and stand in the shadows, scowling and bringing down the vibe. Many a time has one of Dan's hilarious potato jokes fallen splat on their miserable mugs! It's like they're the humour vortex or somethink. Many a time I've urged them to stop being Stiff Herberts and to put on a slinky little bikini, but they just beat the living crap out of me for that. As for poetry nights - well, you can forget it.
"Poetry's for poofters son," they snarl.
Uncultured oafs! Still, we don't let the Stern's get us down. We laugh whilst they punch us, and do all our silly shit, regardless.

Well, at least the humour vortex stays put, rather than following you around... you should try using live badgers to drive them out....

Hello Shackleton, you indomnitable explorer, you - venturing to the outreaches of Blogger!

We have some live badgers here. Might suggest it. On the other hand, we retain a certain, almost masochistic, affection for The Sterns. Bless 'em.

If you haven't already, check out our front page blog. Click on the Blogstream link at the bottom of the post.

Cheers.

Yeh, it's a real pisser that Blogstream is not an open forum - especially as it's a right active community, with a much more sensible front page update window than, say, Blogger. That's why we have linked our two blogs, so as to combine the best features of both (the photos here kick arse, for instance), whilst minimising the bad bits - that's our idea anyway.

It is also interesting introducing the Yanks to our ye olde British sense of humour and disorder:) We have even made some Aussie mates over there as well. They'd love you mate!

Really chuffed to see you hereabouts mate. Pop over for a cuppa anytime (now, if this were BlogStream I could cc you in on this, and you'd know I have responded - see what I mean).
